The Orkney Marine-Life Aquarium welcomes visits from school children and students of all ages.

If you require a particular theme or to illustrate a part of the curriculum, please discuss your requirements prior to your visit. Larger classes are usually split into smaller groups and each group given a guide to explain the displays and (hopefully!) answer any questions that may arise.

Although short tours can be given, it is best to allow at least an hour and preferably an hour and a half for your visit.

The rock pool area can be very tempting for small fingers and school staff should ensure that their charges are fully supervised in this area.
